ZANU-PF Denies Claims Vice President Chiwenga Ejected Tagwirei

ZANU-PF party officials have shut down wild rumors about businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei being thrown out of a key meeting. Farai Marapira, the party's information chief, laughed off the claims and called them false. The NewsHawks newspaper had reported that Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga booted Tagwirei from a Central Committee session on Thursday. Party members supposedly sent messages saying security guards escorted the fuel tycoon out of the building. Marapira said none of this actually happened and dismissed the whole story.

The drama started when Tagwirei was supposed to join the Central Committee for the first time. Party leaders had backed his appointment just one day before the meeting. Reports claimed things went sideways when Chiwenga decided to kick him out. Someone inside the meeting sent a text message saying Tagwirei had been removed. Journalists at the scene noticed his empty chair and saw his cars leaving the headquarters early.

The story caused a stir online with many people asking questions about party divisions. Lawyer Fadzayi Mahere demanded answers from Marapira on social media. She asked him to explain what really happened at the meeting. Marapira responded with laughing emojis and denied everything. He told Mahere the claims were not true and suggested she wanted them to be real.
