Zanu PF Masvingo has gathered the materials needed to build its provincial headquarters. Dr Paul Tungwarara, the Special Presidential Investment Advisor to the United Arab Emirates, gave them 50,000 bricks and 600 bags of cement. The offices will be built in the Clovelly area on the west side of Masvingo City.
Minister Cde Ezra Chadzamira spoke for Dr Tungwarara. He said Zanu PF will finally have a permanent home in the province. Minister Chadzamira believes the project will be finished by December this year.
Cde Rabson Mavhenyengwa is the Zanu PF Masvingo provincial chair. He explained that they would also build a conference center that could hold 10,000 people.
"We will have a place for our inter-district meetings," he said. "And the conference center will fit 10,000 people. It's a new era for Masvingo." Right now, Zanu PF doesn't have a permanent office in Masvingo. They are using a rented place as their provincial headquarters.
