ZCDC leaders sign integrity pledges

The Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company has reinforced its ethical stance through a formal integrity pledge signed by its board and senior officials. The ceremony, supervised by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission, underscores the company's commitment to transparency and accountability.

Chief Executive Officer Dr. Douglas Zimbango stated that the pledge reflects management's dedication to ethical operations, a vital measure for an enterprise handling over $100 million annually. He emphasized the company's role as the nation's largest diamond producer and a major contributor to public revenue.

Board Chair Dr. Onesimo Mazai Moyo added that this initiative aligns the parastatal with overarching national development objectives. The integrity pledges serve as individual commitments to resist corruption and enhance corporate governance.
