Zimbabwe Disability Expo opens in Victoria Falls with Mnangagwa

Zimbabwe's biggest disability event opens tomorrow at Chinotimba Stadium. The expo takes place over three days at Victoria Falls. President Emmerson Mnangagwa will lead Friday's opening ceremony. Thousands of people plan to attend the celebration. Workers finished setting up tents and displays yesterday.

The event focuses on bringing disabled people into all parts of society. Sandars Munsaka leads the organizing team for the national expo. He says the government wants every citizen to feel valued and welcomed. The stadium has been made accessible for people with different needs. Companies and government groups will show their support for disabled workers.

Zimbabwe has made major changes to help disabled citizens. The president signed new policies and hired disabled people for important jobs. A blind person works for the election commission. A disabled judge serves on the high court. The president also chose a special advisor on disability issues.

The expo will feature art displays and talent shows. People can attend panel talks and meet new contacts. Government officials and business leaders plan to participate. International partners will also join the three-day event. The gathering aims to celebrate abilities rather than focus on limitations.

Victoria Falls prepares to host this historic gathering. The event shows Zimbabwe's commitment to helping all citizens succeed. Organizers expect record attendance at this year's expo. The program will highlight progress made toward equal treatment. Citizens from across the country will travel to attend the celebration.
