Zimbabwe’s Vice President, Constantino Chiwenga, stated that the nation's participation in the G20 Summit in South Africa presents a significant opportunity to attract global investment. He explained that President Emmerson Mnangagwa had delegated him to represent Zimbabwe at the event, to which the country was invited by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

He affirmed Zimbabwe's intention to advocate for its economic interests and forge partnerships with wealthier nations.
