Zimbabwe Learners Forge Ties with Iran at Cultural Centre

Students from Blessed Hope Gaza Academy visited the Iranian Embassy Cultural Center in Harare yesterday. This trip aims to strengthen the bonds between Zimbabwe and Iran by learning about each other's cultures. Both countries want to deepen their friendship and develop a greater appreciation for their different traditions and values.

Mr. Hamid Bakhtiyar, Cultural Counsellor at the Iranian Embassy, discussed the shared values between the two nations. He mentioned Rumi's Persian poetry and Persian carpet designs as examples of creativity and wisdom. He praised Zimbabwe for its rich traditions, history, diverse music, festivals, and strong communities that represent African beauty.

The visitors learned about Iranian culture during their time at the center. Mr. Bakhtiyar showed them many Iranian traditions, art forms, and historical events that shaped Iranian identity. TV screens around the room displayed animated stories that helped everyone understand Iranian folklore and heritage better. These visual aids made the cultural lessons more interesting for all participants.

Dr. Nobert Hosho, executive director of Blessed Hope Gaza Academy, thanked the embassy for creating such a valuable experience. He believes these events help people from different backgrounds understand and respect each other. The school participates in these cultural exchanges because it wants its students to learn about global issues and support humanitarian causes worldwide.

Blessed Hope Gaza Academy continues supporting education in rural Zimbabwe. They work to create international friendships based on empathy and standing together with others. Cultural exchanges like this one help connect people across borders despite their different backgrounds. These connections unite everyone in working toward common goals and better understanding between nations.
