The Zimbabwe Rugby Union has taken action against Temba Mliswa after he spoke out about money problems at the organization. Officials decided to suspend him because he went to outside courts instead of using internal channels to resolve disputes. His decision broke Section 19.1 of the rugby constitution, which requires members to keep problems within the sport's official structure. Police arrested ZRU leaders Losson Mtongwiza and Sifiso Made following his court case.
Mliswa serves as head of the Mashonaland West provincial rugby board and must attend a disciplinary hearing soon. The entire ZRU Board agreed to suspend him right away when they learned about his actions.
