tsikamutanda

means a witch-hunter or a traditional exorcist. They are usually paid by people to catch zvikwambo or zvidhoma.

However, some (but not all) of these traditional exorcists are bogus because they will covertly plant their stuff (for example, a snake) at someone's house and then come around saying they can perform a cleansing ritual at that place.

To make matters worse they will also falsely blame someone for being into witchcraft. This creates so much tension within a family unit and eventually irreconcilable differences are established.

Note: one of the major differences between a tsikamutanda and a n'anga is that almost every tsikamutanda (excluding the charlatans who waste people's time) has chikwambo or even multiple of them.

Because not having one means you will be out of business since it's extremely deadly if not impossible to catch another chikwambo without using yours—you always gotta have the right tools of the trade, you know.
