Activision teases Call of Duty Black Ops 7 wall-running beta

Activision released the multiplayer reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, showcasing wall-running mechanics and omnimovement systems from the previous installment. The footage highlights gameplay features that players will experience when the beta launches next week. Four game modes will be available during the beta period, featuring Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint across six different maps. Additional modes like Search and Destroy, Free-For-All, Control, Gunfight, and Kill Order will appear in the complete release.

The full game launches November 14, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms with sixteen total maps for standard six-versus-six gameplay. Three classic maps from Black Ops 2 return, featuring Express, Hijacked, and Raid alongside thirteen new locations. Despite the action-packed trailer, questions persist about whether the game addresses player concerns regarding the franchise's identity crisis and departure from realistic combat scenarios.
