Afenyo-Markin Slams EC's Re-Run Plan in Ablekuma North as Unfair

Alexander Afenyo-Markin lashes out at election officials over their latest move. The Minority Leader claims the Electoral Commission wants to redo voting at 19 stations just to please the government. He thinks the election chiefs are scared they might lose their jobs if they don't help the NDC party. The politician says this whole situation stinks of unfairness. He warns everyone that this kind of behavior could hurt democracy.

The angry lawmaker points out how the election bosses keep changing their story. First they said only three polling stations needed finishing up. A deputy chair even told Parliament they just needed security guards to wrap up the work. Afenyo-Markin wants to know what suddenly changed their minds. He suspects powerful politicians are putting pressure on election officials behind the scenes.

The NPP member thinks the Electoral Commission is caving to extreme voices. He believes some hardliners are forcing election workers to make bad decisions. The politician warns that this unfair treatment could come back to bite everyone later. He says people should think twice before they mess with democratic processes.

The commission plans to hold fresh elections on July 11 at those disputed stations. The NDC party has already said they will fight this decision in court. Both sides are digging in for a major battle over these election results.
