Air India man tries to use cockpit as a toilet

Air India Express detained a passenger who attempted to access the cockpit area during a Bengaluru to Varanasi flight. The individual claimed he was searching for the restroom among the nine travelers aboard the aircraft. Flight crew members immediately restrained the man and transferred him to Central Industrial Security Force personnel after landing. Company officials confirmed that safety measures remained intact throughout the incident. Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter.

The carrier announced new direct service between Bengaluru and Bangkok starting Thursday. Flights depart at 11 AM Indian Standard Time and arrive at 4:45 PM the same day. The route targets travelers during the upcoming festive periods and holiday seasons. Earlier this month, another Air India Express aircraft experienced engine problems on a Delhi-Indore route with 161 passengers. Pilots issued a PAN-PAN emergency signal before landing safely without injuries.
