Azubike Ugochukwu got tossed into the Olokuta Correctional Facility after cops said he and some accomplices broke into Adara Rawlings' place in Akure and made off with tech gear worth over 22 million naira. The haul apparently had multiple laptops like MSI Raiders and Dell Precision models, plus a bunch of phones like iPhone 13s and Samsung Note 20 Ultras, along with random stuff like jewelry and soap.
The wild part is that Ugochukwu allegedly bailed on his surety after getting released from police custody, and authorities had to hunt him down all the way to Ikorodu in Lagos State. His lawyer tried pushing for bail, but the magistrate was not hearing it because of how serious the charges were.
The case got pushed to January for the actual hearing.
