Asante Kotoko Sign Joseph Amoah Ahead of 2025-26 Season

Asante Kotoko grabbed another player for their squad before the new season starts. Joseph Amoah signed his name on a four-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors. The left-back defender came from Legon Cities where he played more than 50 matches. Team officials made him their seventh new player during this transfer period. Kotoko already brought six other footballers to strengthen their roster.

Amoah moved to Legon Cities from smaller club Benab FC last season. The defender became a key player for his former team right away. He scored four goals and helped teammates score eight more times during 24 games. Several clubs wanted to sign the talented player recently. Hearts of Oak showed strong interest but failed to complete the transfer.

The new signing could wear the Kotoko jersey for the first time this Sunday. His debut might happen against Hearts of Oak at the President's Cup match. The game takes place at Accra Sports Stadium with thousands of fans expected. Amoah will face the same team that tried to recruit him earlier. The defender brings fresh energy to Kotoko's defense for the upcoming campaign.
