Bandits strike again in Kebbi, abduct farmers

Criminal gangs operating in Kebbi State struck farming communities for the second time in less than two weeks, seizing multiple agricultural workers from Gandun Wasagu during an afternoon raid. Security expert Bakastine documented the assault through social media channels as residents voiced alarm over repeated violence despite official security deployments.

The latest kidnappings follow a previous operation in the identical location where militants captured 25 schoolgirls and fatally shot an educational administrator. Local populations have issued urgent appeals for government protection and emergency assistance as anxiety spreads throughout Danko-Wasagu territory, where more than 40 people vanished during earlier incursions by armed groups targeting the vulnerable agricultural sector.
