Bangladesh eyes 2025 talks in Dhaka with Bahrain

Bangladesh's top diplomat has called attention to the need for Middle Eastern stability while commending Bahrain for its role in fostering regional cooperation during talks on Saturday at the 21st Manama Dialogue. Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain met with his Bahraini counterpart, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, and proposed that Dhaka serve as the venue for their next round of Political Consultations in 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday.

Hossain invited the Bahraini foreign minister to lead his nation's representatives during a visit to the Bangladeshi capital. The adviser participated in multiple diplomatic discussions on the margins of the conference, which drew international leaders and officials to address security challenges across the region and beyond. The gathering provides a platform for deliberations on pressing geopolitical matters affecting multiple nations.
