Bashundhara Shuvosangho Raises Awareness on Dengue and COVID-19 in Shahjadpur

Bashundhara Shuvosangho organized a health awareness event at Shahjadpur Government Model Pilot High School on Thursday. The meeting focused on dengue fever and coronavirus prevention as both diseases spread across Bangladesh. Teachers and students gathered to learn about protecting themselves from these illnesses. Assistant head teacher Shamima Nahar served as the chief guest for the program. The event took place at the school campus in Shahjadpur upazila of Sirajganj district.

Dr Atiq Siddiqui spoke as the main presenter during the awareness session. He urged everyone to take steps against corona and dengue outbreaks. The doctor asked students to share prevention messages with their families and communities. Kaler Kantho correspondent Ataur Rahman Pintu led the discussion program. Shamima Nahar praised the organization's efforts and promised to support future activities.

Several local leaders attended the health awareness meeting on Thursday. Shuvosangho unit adviser Babul Akhtar Khan joined other community members at the school. Abdul Quddus and Abdur Quader Siddiqui Sangram represented local interests. Organization members Mia Sejan Rahman Parb, Refat Mahmud Rafin and Shafiq Siddiqui Shafin participated. Students and volunteers cleaned the school grounds after the educational program ended.
