Buem Queen Mothers back MP Adams on women empowerment

Queen Mothers from Buem State visited MP Kofi Adams at Parliament on Thursday to celebrate his recent wins. They came to congratulate him on keeping his seat during the elections and becoming the new Sports Minister. The group wanted to talk about helping women become more successful throughout the Buem area. They gave Adams a special award during their meeting to show their respect for his work.

The delegation included important female leaders such as Chairperson Nana Appewbea III, President Nana Okrebea, Vice President Nana Abulati Boasuma I, Treasurer Nana Boatemaa III, and Executive Secretary Mrs. Patience Smile Daves. They praised Adams for bringing development to their region but asked him to focus more on programs that help women and young people. Adams thanked them sincerely for coming to see him. He promised to look carefully at their ideas about supporting women in Buem. He mentioned how traditional leaders play an important role in making communities better.
