A guy from Gwabalanda in Bulawayo got slapped with nine months behind bars after admitting he climbed through somebody's window and walked off with their TV. Prince Sibanda, who is 21, pleaded guilty to breaking into Mbonisi Makore's place in Magwegwe Extension and swiping a 72-inch Hisense set worth three hundred bucks.
The magistrate handed down 15 months total, but six of those got suspended under conditions that Sibanda stays clean for three years and pays back the full amount. Cops tracked him down after the heist, but nobody ever found the television. He's serving the rest of the sentence without any of it getting cut.
