CAPS Crumble Again as Bosso Bag Another Win

Highlanders handed CAPS United a 1-0 defeat at Barbourfields Stadium as Makepekepe continues to struggle. The visitors lost their third game running, earning just one point from four matches. Coach Lloyd Chitembwe skipped media duties afterward, raising questions about his future. The lone goal came early when Reason Sibanda connected with Brighton Ncube's pass, finishing past goalkeeper Harmony Nare just two minutes after kickoff.

CAPS United eventually found their rhythm but lacked finishing touch despite controlling midfield play. They created several chances, including a header from Love Mabiala that appeared to cross the line but wasn't given. Kundai Benyu and Juan Mutudza worked hard connecting plays, with Bruce Kangwa showing commitment throughout the match. The team has scored only three goals in five games, a problem for a side once known for attacking flair.

Highlanders defended well despite missing captain Andrew Mbeba. Goalkeeper Reward Muza made crucial saves on his first start of the season. Coach Kelvin Kaindu praised his team's character after the match. This victory follows their 4-0 win against Kwekwe United, giving them back-to-back home successes. For CAPS United, the road back seems increasingly difficult as they appear directionless.
