Darko calls on EC to obey court order on Ablekuma North results

Elvis Darko blasted the Electoral Commission over their latest move. The Newscenta newspaper boss wants officials to stop planning new votes for Ablekuma North. He says the election body should follow a court order from January instead. The judge told them to count votes and announce winners. Darko thinks the EC bosses are breaking the law.

The newspaper editor spoke on Channel One TV Monday morning. He said the commission should be brave and declare results right away. Any unhappy political parties can take their complaints to court later. The current court order backs up the EC if they just count and announce. Darko believes the commission is acting against legal instructions.

The media man wants Jean Mensa and her two deputies locked up. He thinks the EC chairperson and her team should face contempt charges. Three days in Nsawam prison might teach them to respect court orders. Darko says public officials cannot ignore judges and walk free. He warns that disobeying courts sets a dangerous example for everyone.
