Dickson, Fubara press for calm in Rivers State

Senator Henry Dickson visited suspended Rivers State Governor Fubara yesterday. They talked about recent political changes happening across the state. The former Bayelsa governor praised Fubara for staying calm during these difficult times. He said Rivers appears peaceful but warned this peace might break with any small trigger.

Dickson asked all young people in the state, especially Ijaw youths across Niger Delta, to remain peaceful. He told them not to damage oil facilities because this harms their environment more. The senator called on President Tinubu to help Wike and Fubara find a middle ground. He mentioned that Ijaw Nation has no problems with the federal government.

The lawmaker wants all Niger Delta leaders to help solve these issues fast. He emphasized that Ijaw people support a restructured Nigeria with proper power sharing. Dickson believes President Tinubu can be their partner despite party differences. The senator hopes everyone will work together to restore normal democratic rule.
