Ghana police probe Dambai kidnapping, urge public help

Police in Ghana's Oti Region have opened an inquiry after a 42-year-old resident was taken against his will near a medical facility in Dambai.

Fuseini Mohammed disappeared on Thursday, October 21, 2025, while traveling by motorcycle with his spouse close to the Evangelical Presbyterian clinic. Deputy Superintendent John Nchor, who serves as acting regional public affairs officer, confirmed authorities are pursuing several leads to find Mohammed and identify those responsible for his abduction. Officers have launched search operations aimed at locating the missing man and capturing suspects connected to the incident.

The Ghana Police Service is requesting assistance from residents who may possess useful information about the case.
