Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has selected new leadership for the state's Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board. Mallam Umar Baba will serve as part-time chairman, succeeding Abdullahi Mohammed Gidau after his term concludes on April 4, 2025. Mallam Bashir D. Zubairu joins the board as a member, replacing Dr. Ibrahim Bala, who recently became Keffi Local Government Council secretary.
