High Court Labels Chimombe, Mpofu Claims Frivolous

The High Court made a clear choice about Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu's court case. The court refused to send their case to the Constitutional Court. It said their reasons had no real value.

These two men got into trouble over the Presidential Goat Pass-On Scheme. People say they took US$7.7 million from this program. The police charged them with fraud.

Their trial should have started in early October. But it had to wait because Chimombe and Mpofu brought up many complaints. They did not like how the police arrested them and kept them in jail. The court looked at these complaints but found them empty and bothersome.
