Loud booms shook many parts of Pakistan on Wednesday as India attacked what it called terrorist sites. The lights went out in Muzaffarabad after these blasts happened. India said they ran Operation Sindoor against nine places where they claim terrorists plan attacks. They said they picked targets carefully without hitting military bases. A Pakistan army spokesman told TV channel ARY that India sent missiles into three areas.
Pakistan promised it would fight back against these strikes. Both countries have nuclear weapons, which makes their fights very serious. The attack came after 26 Hindu tourists died last month in Indian Kashmir. India blamed Pakistan for these deaths, but Pakistan said it had nothing to do with it. Pakistan warned earlier that they knew India might attack them soon. Experts worry this might lead to more fighting between these neighbors who often clash.
