Israel Strikes IRIB HQ as Tehran Descends into Chaos

Israeli warplanes bombed Iran's state television building during Monday after telling nearby residents to leave the area. Live broadcast cameras showed lights going out and explosions shaking the TV studio during the attack. Iranian officials reported at least one television worker died from the bombing raid. The military strike interrupted news programs and forced reporters to evacuate their desks. Iranian leaders called the television station attack a war crime against civilians.

Tehran residents fled the capital city as Israeli jets gained control of the skies above. Traffic jams formed on highways heading north as families packed cars with belongings and documents. Many people bought extra food from bakeries and closed their shops during the panic. Some families decided to stay home rather than abandon their houses and neighborhoods. Israeli planes destroyed missile launchers and weapons trucks across the city during multiple bombing runs.

Iran launched missiles at northern and central Israel overnight killing eight civilians according to military reports. Israeli airstrikes killed 224 people and injured over 1200 others since Friday when the bombing campaign started. Iranian missile attacks killed 24 Israelis and wounded 592 more during the same time period. Prime Minister Netanyahu said controlling Tehran airspace changes the entire military campaign against Iran. President Trump urged Iran to negotiate before the situation becomes worse for both countries.
