Maxwell Kuwembula Mugude died when his car hit a sugarcane truck early Thursday morning. The Kamuli District leader crashed around 4:40 am on the Kayunga-Galiraya road near Nakifuma. Police spokesman Patrick Onyango confirmed the accident happened between two vehicles. Kuwembula drove a Pajero that smashed into the larger truck. Nobody knows if other people rode with him during the deadly crash.
