Kenya power cut hits three counties Friday

Kenya Power announced that electricity will go off in parts of three counties on Friday. They plan to work on their equipment from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The company let people know about this on Thursday. Three different areas across Kenya will feel the effects.

In Nandi County, power will stop working at Kabirer Centre, Kabirer Primary, and Kabirer Coffee. Customers in Kisumu County should prepare for no electricity at Muhoroni Market, Chemelil Factory, Kopere Market, Holo Kopere, and nearby areas. Kakamega County residents will also face darkness in Kakamega Town, Musoli, Shinyalu, Shimanyiro, Lubao, and surrounding places.

The power company calls this scheduled maintenance, which means they knew ahead of time they needed to fix or check things. Eight hours without electricity might change how people plan their Friday activities. The power should come back when the clock hits 5 in the evening.

Kenya Power technicians will spend their day making sure the electrical system works properly. They focus on keeping everything running smoothly for the future. Anyone who lives in these areas might want to prepare for a day without their usual electrical services.
