Kenya Power Announces Token Message Delay, Offers Alternatives.

Kenya Power said it is having problems sending token messages to prepaid customers. The company shared this in a post on the social media platform X.

Kenya Power also provided other ways for customers to get their tokens. It said to dial "*977#" and choose "1: Prepaid Services (Token)" and then "2: Latest Token." After that, select or add the meter.

People can also find tokens on the MyPower App. The app works on Android and iOS devices. Kenya Power apologized for any trouble this caused.

The company is working to fix the issue and will update customers when things are back to normal. Kenya Power wants to ensure that people can easily access electricity tokens.

Many Kenyans use prepaid meters for power in their homes and businesses. The token message delay may affect their ability to buy electricity. However, the alternatives Kenya Power provided should help during this time.
