South African rapper Kwesta's 3rd studio album has been officially certified 7x platinum by RISA and at this current point in time that makes it the best selling South African Hip Hop album of all-time.

Senzo Mfundo Vilakazi, prevalently known as 'Kwesta' has impacted the SA Hip Hop music industry forever since the Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA) has declared DaKAR II to be seven times platinum.

P.S. The most memorable song of the album DaKAR II is definitely "Ngud'" which features Cassper Nyovest.

No matter how many followers you have on social media if your music ain't good enough, only a few will buy the music. I like Kwesta because he doesn't have pride like some of the SA Hip Hop rappers.

Both AKA and Cassper Nyovest have done a lot to put SA Hip Hop on the map.

It's just that, both of them can be a bit childish. That's a major turn off. Kwesta, on the other hand, is just humble. You never hear him bragging about anything.

Numbers don't lie. Hate it or love it Kwesta's album DaKAR II has sold more records than Cassper Nyovest's album or AKA's album for that matter. I bet Kwesta's DaKAR II album will eventually be certified Diamond by RISA.

So until Cassper Nyovest and AKA sell more albums than Kwesta then we can have this conversation again.

But in the meantime, it clearly shows that Kwesta is running the game as afar as SA Hip Hop music industry is concerned. These other rappers ain't gotta nothing on Kwesta's DaKAR II album being 7x Platinum. Number don't lie, boss.
