Cooperation between Malaysia and Ethiopia has been strengthened through the exchange of several key documents, according to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. He stated that this reflects a mutual determination to build a more structured and inclusive framework for bilateral relations.
The exchanged documents included an air services agreement and memoranda of understanding on health cooperation and tourism. A separate agreement facilitates collaboration between the Kuala Lumpur City Hall and the Addis Ababa City administration. Both leaders, Anwar Ibrahim and Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed Ali, reaffirmed their commitment to a relationship founded on genuine friendship and mutual trust.
