Microsoft's Nintendo deal is a lie, Black Ops 7 skips Switch 2

Industry insider Billbil-kun confirms Call of Duty Black Ops 7 will arrive on November 14, supporting earlier claims from TheGhostofHope. Activision Blizzard excludes Nintendo Switch 2 from the initial release despite Microsoft's 2023 commitment to bring the franchise to Nintendo platforms within ten years. The company faces technical challenges adapting the game for Nintendo hardware, despite Switch 2 surpassing PlayStation 4 and Xbox One capabilities. Physical copies will retail at €79.99 across PlayStation and Xbox consoles when pre-orders begin on August 20. Gamescom Opening Night Live will precede the ordering announcement.

Treyarch and Raven Software collaborate on development, continuing the narrative from 2012's Black Ops II. Milo Ventimiglia reprises his role as David Mason, leading agents against an adversary who exploits psychological warfare tactics. The campaign unfolds ten years after previous events while maintaining franchise traditions. Multiplayer features return alongside cooperative Zombies gameplay modes. Developers enhance the omnimovement mechanics introduced in last year's Black Ops 6 installment.
