Treyarch's Black Ops 7 forces co-op, erases your endgame grind

Treyarch revealed details about Call of Duty Black Ops 7 during a recent preview event for select media members. The upcoming title takes place in 2035, building upon storylines established in Black Ops 2. Campaign missions support cooperative gameplay for up to four participants, with difficulty adjusting based on player count. Milo Ventimiglia portrays David Mason while Frankie Adams joins as newcomer Leilani Tupuola. The narrative explores themes around Mason's psychological struggles through diverse mission scenarios.

Players gain access to Endgame mode after completing the main campaign. This expanded experience accommodates 32 participants exploring the Avalon environment together. Individual operators advance through customizable skill trees and equipment tiers during gameplay sessions. Squad elimination resets operator progress entirely. The franchise introduces unified advancement systems across all game modes for the first time, with seasonal content updates planned post-launch.
