Mirza Fakhrul visits Dhaka hospital after Jamaat-e-Islami leader falls ill

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer, experienced illness while concluding his address at a national rally held at Suhrawardy Udyan. Medical personnel transported him to Ibne Sina Hospital located in Dhanmondi for treatment. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir arrived at the medical facility around 8:15 pm to check on Rahman's condition. BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan verified the hospital visit by the political leader. Ataur Rahman Sarkar, who handles publicity for Jamaat, informed journalists that the Ameer has returned to stable health.
