Mnangagwa hails $29 million Midlands Park homes in Zvishavane

President Mnangagwa opened the Midlands Park Housing Project in Zvishavane today, marking a significant milestone for the multimillion-dollar development. The head of state emphasized his government's unwavering commitment to national progress during the ceremony. He praised the collaborative efforts that brought the modern complex to fruition, highlighting unity as a key factor in the country's achievements. The President expressed admiration for the Public Service Commission Pension Fund's leadership role in the initiative. He called for similar projects to be established across other provinces with strategic planning.

The development generated employment opportunities for over 3,000 people, with local residents receiving priority consideration. The facility features 28 residential buildings designed to house 56 families alongside four-story student housing containing 126 rooms for 750 occupants. Modern conveniences such as equipped kitchens and individual water metering systems enhance the living experience. The Public Service Commission Pension Fund provided $16.5 million of the total $29 million investment required for completion. President Mnangagwa conducted a comprehensive site inspection to assess the project's community benefits.
