Morocco launched a digital empowerment initiative for women and youth entrepreneurs at the United Nations General Assembly's 80th session in New York. The government's Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform partnered with the Digital Cooperation Organization to create the WE-Elevate program. Minister Delegate Amal EL FALLAH-SEGHROUCHNI announced the project targets small and medium businesses run by women and young people. The initiative provides online training courses, mentor support and business platform connections.
The program advances Morocco's strategy to establish itself as Africa's leading technology innovation center. Participants gain tools to transform their operations digitally and expand their market reach internationally. The Digital Cooperation Organization connects Morocco's domestic goals with global partnerships for wider impact. This collaboration promotes sustainable economic development throughout the region.
