The second round of Myanmar-Belarus Bilateral Consultations took place on the morning of Oct. 3, 2025, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. The meeting was co-chaired by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Myanmar, U Ko Ko Kyaw, and the First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Sergey Lukashevich. Both sides discussed Myanmar’s plans for its upcoming general election, the peace process, and stronger ties between the two foreign ministries. Talks also covered cooperation in defense, security, education, science, technology, culture, sports, and tourism.
They also exchanged views on regional and international developments through ASEAN, EAEU, SCO, and BRICS, aiming to deepen collaboration under these platforms. Following the discussions, the Belarusian First Deputy Minister hosted a lunch for the Myanmar delegation.
