Namibia Cheers as Carney Snatches Trudeaus Crown

Namibian President Nandi-Ndaitwah sent warm wishes yesterday to Mark Carney after he won the top job in Canada. The Canadian people chose him during the April 28 voting to lead their country next. He takes over from Justin Trudeau as Prime Minister number 24 for the nation.

Nandi-Ndaitwah believes his success shows how much faith Canadians have in the Liberal Party's plans. She talked about the strong friendship between Namibia and Canada, built on fairness and teamwork over many years. She wants to work with Carney on world problems like changing weather patterns and making life better for people everywhere.

The president thinks Canada will keep its important role around the world with Carney running things. She looks forward to both countries helping each other achieve their shared goals in the coming years. Their partnership focuses on peace and working together across borders.
