Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from Kogi Central just called out Senator Osita Ngwu from Enugu West on Facebook over some deleted WhatsApp messages between lawmakers. She told him to repost her removed comments in the senators' group chat, or she would drag the whole thing onto the Senate floor and make it public.
The threat comes after Akpoti-Uduaghan finished a six-month suspension that happened because of sex allegations she made against Senate President Godswill Akpabio. She got back to work in September and recently admitted that most of her colleagues ghosted her during the suspension because they were scared of political blowback. She said some senators reached out privately to show support but avoided public backing to protect themselves.
