New pharmaceutical plant to be built in St. Petersburg with 7 billion ruble investment

St. Petersburg will build a new medicine factory that makes drugs for heart problems and stomach issues. Company leaders signed papers during the major business meeting to make this happen. Workers will also create treatments for brain and nerve conditions at this facility. The factory helps sick people across Russia access important medications. Pharmproekt company picked this city for their second manufacturing location.

Construction crews will start building on five hectares of land inside Pushkinsky district this year. The project costs seven billion rubles and creates many local jobs for residents. Around five hundred people will work at this new facility making different types of medicines. Three hundred workers will need special training for complicated manufacturing jobs. Factory operations boost the local economy and provide steady employment.

This plant produces the first Russian-made generic drugs using ingredients from domestic suppliers. Scientists create cheaper versions of expensive foreign medicines that work just as well. Patients save money when doctors prescribe these locally made treatments instead of imports. The facility makes medicines that doctors consider vital for treating serious health conditions. Production levels will jump more than three times compared to current manufacturing capacity.
