A county assembly member died after a bus hit her on Saturday night. Beth Wahito was crossing the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway when the accident happened around 11 PM. She had just finished attending a budget committee meeting that took place at Naivasha. The nominated Nyandarua County Assembly member died right there at the scene. Emergency responders could not save her life.
