ODM leads Western Kenya poll as UDA closes in

Western Kenya politics just became a chaotic free-for-all, according to fresh numbers. Infotrak dropped data showing the Orange Democratic Movement maintains a shaky grip on the region with twenty-five percent support. The United Democratic Alliance breathes down their neck at twenty percent, while the Democracy for Citizens Party trails at seven percent.

Traditional heavyweights like Ford Kenya and DAP-K barely register, scraping four and two percent respectively. This survey surveyed six hundred voters across Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, and Trans Nzoia to measure the vibes. Researchers used phone interviews to gauge how shifting loyalties might impact the twenty-twenty-seven ballot.

Kakamega keeps faith with the orange team, giving them twenty-nine percent against the government's thirteen. Vihiga is a total toss-up where a single percentage point separates the top two rivals. Bungoma flips the script entirely as UDA grabs the lead there with twenty-seven percent over the opposition's eighteen.

Busia still leans towards the opposition with a ten-point gap between the main contenders. Trans Nzoia posts similar figures where the Orange party holds twenty-six percent. These numbers indicate that regional kingpins face a serious headache as voters seemingly rethink their long-term allegiances.
