Passion Centre donates tools to vocational training graduates in Zomba

Passion Centre for the Children handed out work equipment to 14 young people who finished job training classes. The students learned tailoring, carpentry, and brick making during six months of lessons at the school. Each graduate received the tools they need to start working right away. The faith group wants these youth to open their shops and hire other people. This program helps young adults learn skills they can use to make money.

Pastor Saul Mateyu runs the training center and spoke at the graduation event. He told the new graduates they should use their tools to create businesses around Zomba district. The pastor explained that jobs are hard to find across Malawi right away. His organization plans to teach more students and add different trade courses later. The center currently teaches three main skills to help youth become independent.

Enock Chabwera works for the Youth Department at Zomba District Council and attended the ceremony. He praised Passion Centre for teaching valuable skills that match Malawi's development goals for 2063. The official encouraged graduates to start honest businesses that people can trust. Graduate Davie Ndala thanked the center for giving him new abilities that will change his life. Passion Centre has taught 47 young people since starting their program two years ago.
