Pogba Set For Monaco Return After Ban

Monaco wants Paul Pogba to join their team for two years. The French club talks with the 32-year-old midfielder about signing him. Pogba became a free agent after Juventus released him during November 2024. He sat out nearly two years because of a doping suspension. Officials banned him for having high testosterone levels back during September 2023.

The midfielder can play again after his ban ended recently. Monaco and Pogba discuss a free transfer deal right away. ESPN reports the talks move forward between both sides. Pogba would return to French football for the first time since 2009. He left Le Havre as a teenager to join Manchester United back then.

Saudi Pro League teams also want to sign the World Cup winner. Marseille showed strong interest before Monaco entered the picture. Pogba brings experience from top European clubs to any new team. The French international played for Manchester United and Juventus previously. His return marks a major comeback story for world football.
