Police Set Up 24-Hour Economy Security Unit to Protect Businesses

Ghana's top cop brass rolled out fresh security plans for the nation's round-the-clock business program. Interior Minister Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak told officers that police headquarters created a special unit just for this job. The new team will watch over companies and factories that want to operate all day and night. Police chiefs picked Friday's graduation ceremony at the National Police Training School to share these details. Mohammed-Mubarak represents Asawase as their elected member of parliament.

The minister spelled out how important police work becomes for this economic push. Officers must keep workers and business people safe during their daily activities. The 24-Hour Economy Security Secretariat handles all the planning and coordination from police headquarters. This group makes sure every business gets proper protection when they need it most. Mohammed-Mubarak stressed that citizens deserve safety around the clock.

Fresh graduates and veteran officers heard strong words about doing their jobs right. The minister pushed them to show honesty and treat everyone fairly when enforcing laws. He reminded the crowd that police work helps build peace across the country. Officers on duty must earn public trust through their actions and skills. Mohammed-Mubarak emphasized that respectful law enforcement drives national growth forward.
