Riverbed debuts Saudi Arabia’s first AI observability cloud

Riverbed will spin up its Aternity Cloud observability platform inside Saudi Arabian borders by early 2026, delivering the kingdom's first software-as-a-service monitoring tool laced with artificial intelligence that satisfies strict data sovereignty mandates. The AIOps specialist has simultaneously planted regional headquarters in Riyadh, staffing the office with a general manager and executive directors to tighten its grip on Middle Eastern and North African accounts as the Gulf state escalates AI budgets by 160 percent year over year.

The Digital Employee Experience system ingests telemetry from millions of endpoints, applications and cloud-native services to surface real-time performance bottlenecks across corporate networks. Local hosting lets defense contractors and other classified entities adopt machine-learning diagnostics without surrendering control or breaching residency rules embedded in Vision 2030 blueprints. Riverbed already partners with Saudi banks and government ministries, positioning the Aternity rollout as an extension of existing ties rather than a greenfield entry into the kingdom's digital transformation pipeline.
