Ruto lands at Sagana for Mt Kenya tour

President Ruto arrived at Sagana State Lodge before his big trip around Mt Kenya. Starting April 1, he plans to spend five days visiting the region. His development journey begins right after he arrives at the lodge.

Local leaders came out to greet the president when he arrived. Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi and National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wa led the welcome group. The president talked with nearby residents who eagerly waited to see him before his regional visits began.

The president will talk on TV Monday night with a local channel. During this broadcast, he aims to reach people living throughout the Mt Kenya area. The interview happens just hours before he starts traveling across the region tomorrow.

Many expect the president to discuss his plans for helping communities during these upcoming visits. He will likely explain what projects he wants to start or finish across Mt Kenya during his five-day stay in the area.
