Saba Sadiq vows justice for Sheetal and Zarq after Balochistan honour killing

Parliamentary Secretary Saba Sadiq condemned the brutal murder of two people in Balochistan after tribal members killed them for marriage choices. The victims, Sheetal aged twenty-four and Zarq aged thirty-two, died during a public execution in a remote area. Sadiq contacted the provincial police chief demanding a complete investigation report and swift arrests of perpetrators. The government maintains strict policies against violence targeting women and refuses to accept cultural justifications for such crimes. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's administration pledges zero tolerance toward honor-based killings.

Sadiq described the murders as shameful acts that damage society's moral foundation. She emphasized that outdated customs cannot excuse cold-blooded violence against citizens exercising personal freedom. The Human Rights Ministry will monitor the legal proceedings while providing assistance to victim families throughout the process. Civil society organizations praised the government's rapid response and urged stronger protective laws. Authorities promised justice until all responsible individuals face prosecution for their actions.
