SampleScience made
Organic Padscapes, a free
ROMpler. They took 12 field recordings and boosted specific frequencies to make them tonal.
Like an experimental pad machine, you can play these long field recordings as chords. The sounds are organic and full of harmonics.
Here's what you get in Organic Padscapes:
You can play 12 natural-sounding pads. The
audio plugin has four sound effects - distortion, delay, chorus, and reverb. A multi-
LFO helps you shape the sound, and you can add glide between notes. You'll find a filter to control high and low sounds, plus ways to adjust how loud the sounds get. You can play the pads in three ways: many notes at once, one at a time, or smoothly between notes.
Here's what you need to run Organic Padscapes:
You must have Windows 8.1, 10, or 11 or a Mac with macOS 10.15 or newer. Your computer needs 130 MB of free space. Ensure you have a 2GHz quad-core CPU or better and at least 4 GB of RAM. The plugin works with 64-bit music software that can run VST, VST3, or AU plugins.
