Sanadi Surprise in Morocco Squad for Tunisia

Morocco announced its squad for the upcoming matches against Tunisia and Benin. The team will play Tunisia on June 6 and Benin on June 9 at the Fez Stadium. These games help prepare for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament. Atlas Lions coaches picked 26 players for the friendly matches. The team will train at the Mohammed VI Center before traveling to Fez.

Several surprises appeared on the final roster. Marouane Sanadi from Athletic Bilbao gets his first call-up to the national team. Adam Masina and Osama Al-Azouzi return after missing previous games. Noussair Mazraoui and Nayef Aguerd cannot play because of injuries. Coaches left out Jamal Harqas from Wydad despite his good club form.

The goalkeepers are Yassine Bounou, Munir Mohamedi, and Mehdi Benabid. Defense features Omar Hilali, Abdelkader Bacar, Abdel Haq Assal, Adam Masina, Jawad Yamiq, Achraf Hakimi, Youssef Belaili, Zakaria Wahidi and Osama Al-Azouzi. Midfield has Sofyan Amrabat, Osama Tergalain, Amir Richardson, Bilal Khannous, Ismail Sabari, and Azzedine Ounahi. Attack contains Ilyas Ben Sghir, Ibrahim Diaz, Marouane Sanadi, Ayoub El Kaabi, Youssef En-Nesyri, Sofyan Rahimi, Osama Sahrawi, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, and Hamza Ikman.
